Kettle Country Klondike Derby

Join us at Harrington Beach State Park for Kettle Country’s very own Groundhog Day Klondike Derby Event on February 2, 2019 at 8:00 am. 

Show up early to get a good view for Phil, the famous weather prognosticator to make his decree.  As you wait for the big unveiling….what to do with your time?

Become a honorary Groundhog and test your skills with your fellow Groundhogs to see if you have what it takes to be top Groundhog.  Be prepared to: 

• Construct groundhog tunnels
• Navigate thru groundhog holes
• Identify other animals that you might want to stay away from
• Enjoy a delicious groundhog burger
• Participate if Groundhogs games with fellow groundhogs
• Save yourself from getting trapped
• Fix up a fellow groundhog that has been hurt

At the end of the day…

Will you see your shadow or not ?

Will it be 6 more weeks of winter…..
