Cub Scout Adventure Hike
Come with your Pack, your Den, or your family and friends to enjoy a day of adventure designed to get Scouting families outside and moving in the beautiful autumn weather.
Enjoy a leisurely hike through Osprey Point in Bellevue, a 110-acre conservation property stewarded by the Brown County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League. Other activities will include fishing, archery, ropemaking, pocket knife safety (soap carving), and campfire cookery. Separately, Scouts BSA Troop 1107 will be on-site selling brats and burgers for a delicious picnic lunch. The event runs asynchronously 10:00am-3:00pm; arrive and depart when you like and enjoy the activity stations in any order. Make sure to visit the highlight of the Adventure Hike, the quarter-mile Scout Law Trail appropriate for kids of all ages. A spacious, shaded pavilion is on-hand with ample seating in case of cloudy skies. Complimentary hot cocoa and coffee will be served all day.
Cost is $15 per Scout and $10 each for adults (18+) and youth 5-17 not registered in Scouting. Children not yet in kindergarten are free. NEW SCOUTS OF ANY AGE WHO HAVE FIRST REGISTERED SINCE JULY 1, 2024, RECEIVE FREE ADMISSION.
