Cost: $6.00 per youth, includes a patch for the event.  Patches may not arrive before the event date but will be distributed to unit leaders as soon as they are received. 

Fishing Licenses:  January 16-17, 2021 is a free fishing weekend in Wisconsin.  No fishing licenses will be required for youth or adults.  All local and state fishing regulations will remain in force.

Items to bring:  Appropriate clothing for an outdoor winter event, including boots, jacket, hat, and gloves.  Ice fishing equipment / bait (if available).  A limited amount of equipment and bait will be available but reserved for those new to this type of activity/experience.  We will be drilling holes at least 6ft apart and following local COVID guidelines.  If you’d like to bring your own ATV/UTV/snowmobile/portable ice shanty, that is acceptable.  Please note, pulling of scouts in sleds behind these motorized vehicles will not be permitted during this event.  Some warming areas will be available, but please dress for the conditions.  Bring a folding chair or pad to sit on, while on the ice.  

Ice Conditions: If there is no snow on the lake consider the use of ice cleats to walk on the ice, as it will be slippery.  Click here to see Ice Cleat example

Things to do:  We will have games to play while on the ice and hot chocolate will be available.
