Kettle Country Indoor Scoutmaster/Asst. Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training

Event Details

This course is open to everyone:  Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Troop Committee Members, 5th Grade Webelos Den Leaders and Scouts BSA Parents are all encouraged to participate.  This leader specific training concentrates on troop operations and the patrol method.  Taught as an indoor session.

The Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster are considered trained upon completion of this course, Introduction of Outdoor Skills (IOLS), and Youth Protection Training.

The district training committee recommends that you complete Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific training before taking Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.

There is no charge for this session.

Things to bring:  bag lunch & drink, Scoutmaster Handbook, Boy Scout Handbook (recommended), paper & pen for taking notes.
