Momentum: Spark and Virtual Ordeal Induction Weekend

November 6-8, 2020

Newly Inducted Ordeal Members are invited to join Momentum: Spark at no cost.  You will be able to watch the National Pre-Ordeal and Ordeal ceremonies and join in special member programming on Saturday. 

During the weekend of Nov. 6-8, Ordeal candidates can complete their Ordeal virtually and become members of the Order of the Arrow.  The lodge will conduct a virtual Ordeal in conjunction with the National Order of the Arrow Induction program to be held Nov. 6 and 7, along with an additional lodge program Sunday evening on Nov. 8th.  Current members can participate in Momentum: Spark.    Current members who wish to serve as Elangomats will receive premium delegate status for Momentum: Spark at no cost.  Talk to your chapter chief if you want to serve as an Elangomat.  On Sunday night, Nov. 8th, the Lodge will gather virtually to welcome the new Ordeal members, hear a message from the Region Chief, elect lodge officers and have some fun and games.  Watch your email and this space for more details and the Zoom link for the Nov. 8th program. 

There are 4 different registration options based on your Order of the Arrow membership status. Those options are below.

NEWLY INDUCTED ORDEAL MEMBER - If you are a Newly Inducted Ordeal member and have completed your Ordeal at either Bear Paw Scout Camp or Hiawatha Scout Camp, Aug. 28-30, sign up by selecting the registration button to the right.

ORDEAL CANDIDATE - If you have not completed your Ordeal this past fall at one of our Bay-Lakes Council camps, sign up by going to https://scoutingevent.com/635-VirtualOrdeal.  Choose the Ordeal Candidate option when registering.  Cost is $30.00 for Ordeal Candidates which covers the cost for the Ordeal package which will be mailed to you.

ELANGOMAT - If you are a current member and will be serving as an Elangomat for the virtual Ordeal weekend, sign up by going to: https://scoutingevent.com/635-VirtualOrdeal.  Choose the Elangomat option during registration. 

CURRENT MEMBER - If you are a current Order of the Arrow member and want to participate in Momentum: Spark, go to: https://momentum.oa-bsa.org/ to register.  You will choose either Basic Delegate (FREE) or Premium Delegate ($15) status.
