The Pirates of the Bog!

Saturday, January 17, 2026, check in 7:30-8:30am @ the Welcome Center

Welcome to the 2026 District Klondike Derby, The Pirates of the Bog, hosted by Beshkno Chapter of the Order of the Arrow. All events are based off of the requirements from Scout all the way up to 1st class. This is a competitive event with an award for the top Patrol. Webelos are encouraged to attend with a troop.

As ususal lunch will be provided, and includes friendship soup...details on that are in the soon to be released Leader Guide.

Polar Bear Camping Option: We encourage all units to partake in the Polar Bear Camping opportunity that is offered Saturday night. Units staying for the Polar Bear Camping will be responsible for all meals after Klondike is over.  Please let Caesyn Ahl know if your Troop or Crew plans to Polar Bear or if you have questions. Don’t forget about our 5th annual Adult leader Chili Cookoff!! Only one entry per Troop, (troop must supply everything needed but bowls and spoons) the OA will supply a secret ingredient that must be used!

Check-in at the Welcome Center, January 17 between 7:30-8:30am with flags at 8:45am
