Hiawathaland District Winter Fun
All Scouts are invited for a fun weekend at Camp Hiawatha and to stay in a heated cabin. Two weekends to choose from. Food is included in the $40.00 per person fee.
You MUST pre-register online to attend this event.
The first 70 registered are guaranteed a bed in a cabin. All attendees MUST be BSA currently registered youth or adults prior to arrival.
Events include a snow shoe hike to Molly Becker Island. Sledding at the council fire ring. Exploring camp in the winter. Building a snow shelter and sleep in it if you so desire. Your troop can plan a hike to Eben Ice Caves or sledding at the nearby Chatham Ski Hill. Nighttime star gazing out on the lake! If you bring your own downhill skis there is a small Chatham Ski Hill nearby.
This event is open to all Scouts BSA and Scouters so bring your troop out and enjoy a winter outing at Camp Hiawatha.
Coming for day on Saturday is also an option. If you have any questions, please contact Erick Kestila at erick.kestila@baylakescamps.org
Reminder: All adults staying overnight on the property must be Registered Adult Leaders with the Boy Scouts of America and have completed the required Youth Protection Training within two years of the last day of the last session for which you register.
