Join us for our Eagle Recognition and District Awards Ceremony as we recognize Eagle Scouts from 2025/2026 and Venture Summit recipients from 2025/2026, our 2025 District Award of Merit recipients, along with our 2025 leader awards, including: Cubmaster and Scoutmaster of the Year, Dedicated Service, Spark Plug, Rookie of the Year, Chairman's Award and Distinguished Sponsorship of Scouting Awards.

Program includes a guest speaker, Eagle Scout speaker, awards and recognition and a meal. We encourage our Eagle Scouts to bring their own memorabilia to showcase their Scouting journey and accomplishments. Scout uniform is encouraged but not required.

The District Awards & Eagle Scout Recognition Ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 26th. This will be held at the First United Methodist Church (325 East Franklin St in Appleton) in their Fellowship Hall. Please arrive at 1:30pm for fellowship and desserts, the ceremony will begin at 2:00pm. 

This event is free for this year! Because of a change in venue, due to a scheduling issue with the American Legion, we will not have a full meal. But cake and desserts, along with coffee, soda, and water will be available at no cost. If you’d like to bring a dessert or Dutch oven recipe to pass, you are more than welcome to! If you are able, a goodwill donation to the Gathering Waters District is appreciated and helps support the cost of food and awards. There is a spot in the registration link to donate, if you wish.
