All Bear Paw Campmasters and Camp Engineers are invited to a Training and Volunteer Appreciation weekend December 2, 3, 4, 2022 at of course - Bear Paw Scout Camp.

The Campmaster Schedule for the weekend is briefly something like this:

Friday Night:   Meet and greet with brat fry, Trading Post Training for Campmasters

Saturday:  Will include some great food and fellowship along with multiple training opportunities.

        Some of the topics we will be covering will include:

• Camp Tractor Operations
• Building Operations
• Program Opportunities and how we can build them
• Emergency Procedures at Camp
• YPT issues and other required trainings.
• Upcoming facility maintenance projects

ROVHA Training Opportunity for up to 6 participants.  Completion of this training allows you to use Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (UTV's) while on Council Camping Properties, sometimes referred to as side-by-sides, UTVs, or ROVs.  (This is NOT for ATV training and use). 

Once the required online training has been completed, operators must be certified on a course set up by a certified ROV DriverCoach.  The driving course part of this training can only be held at Camp.  You are on your own for the online training which must be completed first. Please note we are limited to 6 participants this weekend. The driving course will take 2-4 hours to complete.

Saturday Evening meal for ALL Campmasters and Camp Engineers will be a steak dinner with a very special surprise!!

Sunday Morning after breakfast we will have a discussion on promoting camp.  The rest of the day you are welcome to explore camp or just hang out.

Anyone who might be interested in becoming a Campmaster are encouraged to attend.

There is no cost to our Volunteers for this weekend training opportunity.

CAMP ENGINEERS - Most of the weekend will be directed towards Campmaster Training, but that does not mean you have to stay away.  BUT, Please plan to attend our appreciation dinner on Saturday Evening.  We will still have trainings and activities for you also.
