Spring Camporee @ Bear Paw Scout Camp

May 2-4, 2025

Troops, Crews, and Ships, camp as units at the Bear Paw Spring Camporee!  This is your chance to complete a merit badge or finish one that you started at summer camp or just come for the fun!  During registration Scouts must register for specific programming from the activities being offered.  This year will be a joint camporee effort between Gathering Waters, Voyageur, and Twin Lakes Districts!

PROGRAM DETAILS
Cost: $25.00 for youth and adults - includes lunch on Saturday, campsite reservations, patch, and all activity supplies (other meals are the responsibility of the unit in your campsite).
Program Overview:
     Friday - 4:30pm Check-in opens
                  7:00pm -10:00pm- "Star Wars Cantina" Dance Party in the Dining Hall (we have a DJ coming)
     Saturday - 8:45am Flag ceremony
                  9:00am to 4:00 pm Activities/Sessions open
                  7:30pm Scouts Own Service & Campfire program
     Sunday - 8:00am Flag ceremony, closing and good turns

13 MERIT BADGES offered, as of 2/10/25, more to come...
Electricity, Collections, Archery, Rifle, Shotgun, Climbing, Public Health, Energy, Auto Maintenance, Aviation, Chess, Radio, and Wilderness Survival.  *All shooting sports merit badges will only be for Scouts with partials from summer camp, with an open shoot in the afternoon for all.

OPEN ACTIVITIES:

DJ Dance Party on Friday night, in the Dining Hall from 7-10pm, come request your favorite tunes to play!

Golden Fork Award (Dutch Oven Cookoff), Fishing, Lashing, Service Projects

Camp-wide Activities, Saturday Night Patrol Competition

Saturday night campfire, with an OA Call Out Ceremony, Skits and Songs!

ATV Trail Ride Tours (a current ATV Rider Card is required, must have completed prior to 5/3/25)
