2020 SPRING CAMPOREE UPDATE

-------> If possible we will keep our 2020 group campsite reservation.  If the park allows, troops could camp at high cliff on May 1-3, 2020 at no charge.  This is completely subject to State/National mandates surrounding the COVID-19 situation. <-------

Mark your calendar for the ANIMAL SCIENCE merit badge at High Cliff State Park!  The 2021 Spring Camporee will be held at High Cliff State Park (Group Campground) near Sherwood, WI the weekend of April 23-25, 2021.  The cost will be $10.00 per person.  We will use the requirements for the Animal Science Merit Badge as the core of the Camporee events.  Scouts who participate for the entire day on Saturday will have the opportunity to earn the Merit Badge, regardless of whether they camp out Friday or Saturday nights.  As always, the activities planned will stress Scout teamwork skills and the patrol method.  It’s even possible that we will be competing for the coveted FRYING PAN at this event!

To make this event a success, we need your Troop's participation.  Thank you for your continuing participation in the Gathering Waters District Events!  We look forward to seeing you there.
