Bear Paw Scout Summer Camp provides a GREAT 6 night / 6 day OUTDOOR ADVENTURE for Scouts BSA & Venturing Scouts, their trusted adults and leaders nestled on the shores of beautiful Bear Paw Lake 5 miles (8.0 km) east of Mountain, Wisconsin in the Nicolet National Forest.

Camp amenities include a shower house, water and meals served cafeteria style in a dining hall or patrol cooked at the discretion of the unit.

The program consists of waterfront, range and target activities, whitewater activites, COPE and climbing, an impressive STEM center, various merit badges and high adventure activities for Scouts to choose from and a camp wide water carnival to end the week. Parents will have the opportunity to learn as well with adult activities; leader Dutch Oven cookoff and whitewater rafting, and various trainings.

Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews can choose a session that fits their schedule, and are encouraged to attend as a group, but any youth/adult can attend any session. Please note: Younger siblings, BSA registered or not, are not permitted to attend.

The LEADER GUIDE will be released in February 2026. Notification will be sent to registration contact.

CAMPSITE assignments will be booked 3-4 weeks prior to session start date. Notification will be sent to registration contact.

The payment schedule calendar gives units the option to pay monthly instead of lump sum payments - Note this is optional. Required payment dates to be met are: registration sign-up $15 deposit, be paid up-to-date within the payment schedule window to sign up for Merit Badge classes, and final balance payment by 5/31. The Merit Badge class schedule and sign-up will be released at a later date. The main registrant contact will recieve a notification to alert them ahead of class sign-up opening.

Additonal campers may be added to the Troop registration at anytime; the required payment due at sign-up will coincide with the payment schedule. If a scout or leader needs to cancel, you may update the information in the individual registration with new committments instead of canceling the spot.
