Gardner Dam Webelos Summer Camp provides a GREAT 3 night / 4 day OUTDOOR ADVENTURE for Webelos, their trusted adults, and leaders on 400 acres of pristine nature along the banks of the Wild Wolf River in Langlade County, Wisconsin!

Reminder: Units will need to provide their own tents.

For Ambush & Big Rock campsites, preference will be given to units which have participants with mobility issues. Camp amenities include a shower house, water and meals served cafeteria style in a dining hall.

The camp program is designed to meet the needs and interests of Webelos and parents; therefore, preparation for adventure belt loops and activity pins are continuous and consistent with the program in the Pack.

The program consists of waterfront, shooting sports (BB Guns/Archery), Nature, Campfires, Chapel, theme related projects and activities, as well as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities and NOVA awards. Parents will have the opportunity to learn as well with adult activities, training offerings, and whitewater rafting. 

Cub Scout Webelos and AOL Dens can choose a session that fits their schedule, and are encouraged to attend as a group, but any youth/adult can attend any session. Please note: Younger siblings, BSA registered or not, are not permitted to attend.

Notes on different payment and booking options:
Your Register Contact person with your Pack can choose to partially book campers (both youths and adults) but then set up Parent Portal for parents and adult campers to finish booking their kids or themselves. This is the recommended practice. The spots held by the partial booking, set up by your Pack's Register Contact, are only held for 14 days (two weeks). This ensures that Packs are not reserving limited spots beyond what is actually required and thereby inadvertently blocking others from attending camp. The Register Contact will run a report which generates Parent Portal credentials for each camper they partially book, and share those credentials with the unit parents to use to finish booking and paying for their scouts. The most common option is for the Registered Contact person to pay for everyone's registration fees using a unit-owned checking account or credit card; then collecting funds from families. This is not recommended as it can create issues wherein units may have a difficult time collecting all the fees from all the families.The least recommended option is that the Registered Contact uses their own payment method to complete the bookings and then is reimbursed by the Unit Treasurer. While often the easiest method, the Registered Contact is taking on a lot of risk. 

PLEASE NOTE: There is no way to directly pay for camp via a scout's Scout Account in Scoutbook. Council has no access to units' Scoutbook accounts. Your unit's Treasurer can reimburse parents for costs incurred via Parent Portal from a scout's Scout Account, but it cannot be directly applied towards registration fees on this system (BlackPug 24/7 Scouting).
