ATTENTION:  THE LODGE GATHERING LOCATION HAS CHANGED TO CAMP ROKILIO TO COINCIDE WITH THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR KON WAPOS LODGE STAFF ADVISER, DAN CONNOLLY, WHO PASSED AWAY JULY 7TH, AFTER A BRIEF BATTLE WITH CANCER.  THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL TAKE PLACE AT CAMP ROKILIO ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 17TH.  MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO STAY FOR THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE, TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED TO BEGIN SUNDAY AT 1PM.  LUNCH ON SUNDAY WILL BE SERVED TO MEMBERS WHO STAY FOR THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE.

Friday, Aug. 15 - Arrive 5:30-7:30pm

Sunday, Aug. 17 - Depart by 10am or stay for the Celebration of Life for Dan Connolly

Ordeal candidates will complete their Ordeal and join our brotherhood.  Those who have been Ordeal members for 6 months or more, willl seal their membership by becoming Brotherhood members. Those who were selected to be Vigil honor members will hold their vigil on these weekends. For those not doing their Ordeal, the weekend will be filled with service projects for camp, as well as fellowship for everyone.

Ordeal candidates need to arrive at camp no later then 7:30 PM on Friday evening. The conclusion of the Ordeal, including flap and book distribution, will take place Sunday morning by 10am.

Leaving camp during the weekend is prohibited. If any youth member needs to leave camp for any reason, they must check out and be picked up by a parent or guardian OR have a signed permission slip from their parents or guardian stating why they are leaving and who has permission to pick them up. Thank you for your help with this safety issue.

All Scouts under 18 years old must have a signed permission slip to attend this event.

Everyone must bring a valid BSA Medical Form Parts A and B.

Suggested items to bring for the weekend include: Scout uniform, tent, sleeping bag, ground cloth, work clothes and gloves (items will get dirty), rain gear, underwear, socks, toiletries, towel, money for trading post, insect repellent, flashlight, health history form and any needed medications.  Contact the LODGE ADVISER with questions.
