There is a 50% chance of rain predicted currently. You will likely be spending a lot of time outside. Please come with rain gear and warm dry clothes/shoes to change into if you get wet.
Please don't forget to indicate any dietary restrictions and/or allergies.
“Be Prepared” for a great day as this is where it all comes together. You’ll be ready to depart on Saturday at 5:30 PM (Camp Directors, Commissioners, and Program Directors will leave by 6:30 PM). We hope you’re getting as excited for this event as the key leaders are. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.
We are aware that April 19th is the Saturday of Easter Weekend. When we attempted to identify a Saturday this spring which would work well for the majority of our returning staff, this Saturday worked best for many specifically because of Easter...Many of those camp staff who attend college/university will be home this weekend to celebrate the holiday with their families on Sunday. Holding this training the day before Easter, when they will be home anyway, instead of a different Saturday, means those away at school do not need to make multiple trips home this semester. We apologize for any inconvenience this may present to families; we are hopeful by explaining how holding this training on this date allows for more staff to attend, it will help ease impacted families frustration or disappointment regarding the scheduled date.
