NRA Instructor Rifle Shooting Course

NRA Instructor Rifle Shooting Course
$70/participant...$20 if only taking BIT, ($50 if only taking Instructor Rifle Shooting) Sign-up deadline is Feb 25
This is a two day training. No overnight accommodations or food are provided. Participants must arrange their own transportation and lodging.
Prerequisite: Must have completed NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course. Possession of basic fireaarm safety skills is also a prerequisite for certification as an NRA instructor. Prior to the instructor training, candidates complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises.
Course is presented in two parts: Basic Instructor Training and NRA Instructor Rifle Shooting training. Students demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course, and complete an instructor certification examination.
Basic Instructor Training is part one of ALL NRA Instructor level classes and must be retaken if completed more than two years prior.
If you have never taken BIT, or it was more than two years ago, sign up for both days. If you only need BIT for one of the other instructor sessions in Mar, Apr or May, just sign up for that. If you have BIT in the past two years and would like just Instructor Rifle Shooting, sign up for that.
Please print the Instructor pre-course questionnaire and fill it out as completely as you can. Also print the Rifle Instructor pre-course qualification and write your name on it. Bring both to class with you.
Bring a bag lunch both days. Bring pen and note paper. Bring a great attitude for learning. Please don't bring any firearms! Thanks.
