Event Details

Science is Fun in the Lab of Shakhashiri! Join us on Saturday, January 14 for a special presentation from Dr. Bassam Shakhashiri and the UW Chemistry Department. During the exciting science demonstration, Dr. Shakhashiri will share stories from his time in Scouting as a youth in Lebanon. Cub Scouts of all ages are sure to get a bang out of this event! Perfect for anyone working on STEM or NOVA awards.

This event will include an hour of science fun and a patch for each participant. 

Location:
Room 1361 Daniels Chemistry Building. This one of the big lecture halls. Please enter at 1101 University Avenue (corner of University Ave and Mills Street) and there will be someone there to direct you.
