Driftless Hike and Service Day

Join the Driftless District for a Brand-New Tradition! (Moved to a new date due to Facilities)
On May 30, Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venturing Crews are invited to Stewart Lake Park near Mt. Horeb for a special day of hiking and hands-on conservation service.
Enjoy hikes of varying lengths for all ages and skill levels
Take part in meaningful service projects that support our local parks
Bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic in the park with fellow Scouts
This free event is a great way to explore the outdoors, give back to the community, and connect with Scouts across the Glacier's Edge Council.
We’ll also be celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Dane County Parks and honoring Stewart Lake Park as Dane County’s very first established county park! Learn more about the incredible opportunities in our parks system, discover future service and Eagle project ideas, and help us make a difference.
Don’t miss this chance to hike, serve, and celebrate!
