Wisconsin River District Den Chief Training

Wisconsin River District
Den Chief Training
Why be a Trained Den Chief?
Who is a Den Chief? The Den Chief supports the Cub Scout/Family Scout Den Leader, serving as a helper, role model, and a friend to the Tiger, Wolf and Bear Cub Scouts and Webelos/Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts.
Qualifications:
Den chiefs are typically more effective when they're at least a few years older than the Cubs, Webelos & Arrow Lights they're working with. It's also a good idea if the Scouts BSA youth member is at least First Class rank, but this isn't required. A Den Chief should be an experienced Scouts BSA youth (male or female) and have at least one full year or more of tenure. Join us for a virtual "in person" class to complete the Den Chief training!
There is no fee for this class as as it will be done virtually. It will be a live in interactive class and it will be using various media such as Zoom, Google classroom and so forth.
Links to the virtual media that will be used will be sent out a day before the class to all that have registered.
Pre-registration is required!
We are limiting this class to 30 participants to assure we are able to offer a good quality training.
