This year marks the 75th Anniversary of American Wood Badge. Founded by Robert Baden-Powell in 1919, it was William "Green Bar Bill" Hillcourt that sheparded Wood Badge in the United States beginning in 1948 at Mortimer L. Schiff Scout Reservation in New Jersey. Since then tens of thousands of Wood Badge Alumni have been awarded their recognition for completing the premier adult training experience of the BSA. 

Glacier's Edge Council has a tradition of providing a mountain-top experience for Wood Badge participants. Open to all Scouters, we are excited to welcome Troop 1 alumni and prospective participants alike to a weekend of engaging topics, special guests and amazing fellowship to a weekend to celebrate 75 years of tradition of preparing adults for the customers of our movement - Scouting's youth.

We will have the great meals you have come to expect in Glacier's Edge Council Wood Badge. Prepare to be re-energized for your own Scouting role, no matter how you serve!
