3Ps: Peeing, Pooping, Periods with No Running Water

Come join us for a weekend of training geared for women who want to spend more time outside. We’ll start with the basics: how to pitch a tent, tie knots, start fires, and orienteering. We’ll move into the differences of gear between women and men. Different techniques to pee outside including gear options. Some of the options and ways to manage your period away from flushable toilets and running water. We’ll then move into ways to protect yourself in the outdoors. Our goal is to help you build these skills using the EDGE method, but mostly to help you gain confidence in your outdoor skills. We all started somewhere and want to help others enjoy the woods as much as we do.
Most importantly we’d like you to have the opportunity to connect with other people in Scouting. To have a weekend to rejuvenate and refresh while learning these important skills.
Please bring ideas on other things in Scouting you'd like to learn. We may add them in future 3Ps weekends. This weekend is open to everyone in Scouting. We hope to see you there!
