Description

The Yahara District Family Campout is an opportunity for all Cub Scouts and their families to camp overnight.  Whether you are new to camping or a seasoned Scout family, fun is sure to be had by all.  Saturday activities include a campfire program, cracker barrel (aka snacks) and stargazing activities.  Feel free to bring your telescopes.  Sunday we’ll start with breakfast, followed by activities which will be focused on scout skills.

$15 per youth

$10 per Adult

$10 per Non Scouting Age Sibling

Includes all activity supplies and breakfast.

We’ll begin Saturday with Check-In and set up from 8:30 – 10:00 followed by an opening ceremony, then structured activities for the scouts. Lunch will be served followed by more activities and then dinner.  Saturday will conclude with a campfire program before settling in for the evening.  Sunday morning will begin with breakfast followed by activities, camp tear down and a closing ceremony.  Activities for the weekend will be centered around a Scouts Skills theme.  Some advancement, especially those that involve outdoor skills such as camping and cooking, will occur naturally as part of the weekend program.
