WRD Polar Prowl Snow Day

February 6, 2021
New and existing Cub Scouts, and all youth K-5 are welcome to join in on the fun!
Although we won’t be able to meet in-person this year, the Wisconsin River District activities committee has put together an incredible virtual experience that you can enjoy at home!
The focus will be on activities that you can do with your family both at your home and out and about. We encourage everyone to get outside for some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors, as well as have some indoor fun.
*GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS*
The event can be found on the Wisconsin River District Facebook page, under the event page titled, “Polar Prowl – Snow Day!”. The Facebook event will be open on the Wisconsin River District Facebook page from Saturday, February 6th at 8:00 am until Sunday, February 7th at 6:00pm to share pictures, ask questions, or engage with other Scouts also participating.
Direct your attention to the “Attachments” tab on the right side of this screen. These documents will help guide you through the Polar Prowl Snow Day experience. (details listed below)
Polar Prowl Snow Day Event Info: Each Scout will download a “Scorecard” and try to complete as many activities on the card as possible. The activities are winter themed and should represent what a kid would possibly do on an actual snow day! Once the Scout completes an activity, go to the “Instructions and Supplies Sheet” and find the matching picture to copy and paste onto the Scorecard. Scouts will have a full week to compete the Scorecard, and it should be emailed by Saturday, February 13th to zamman@mhtc.net upon completion for a chance to win a prize from the Scout Shop! Winner will be notified on Sunday, February 14th.
