Hey Scouts!

Have you wondered what it is like to row a competitive rowing shell/boat as seen in the Olympics? Glacier’s Edge Council along with the Camp Randall Rowing Club would like to introduce you to ROWING!  This event will be an inclusive, encouraging, and safe environment, teaching you valuable lifelong lessons, encouraging responsible and respectful teamwork, and instilling a lifelong passion for excellence learned both on and off the water. 

This is a Free Event that is Limited to the first 24 Scouts that register.

When: Saturday, September 12

Time: 9am-12pm

What to bring:

Shoes that can and will get wet.
Swimsuit
Shirt, tight fitting
Sun screen
Water bottle
Snacks/Lunch

Requirements: Scouts must be classified as a Swimmer to participate

Note: Some, but not all, of the requirements for the Rowing Merit Badge will be covered in this event. Please bring a blue merit badge card with your information and Scoutmaster approval filled out , if you are interested in working on some of the merit badge requirements.
