Ohio River Valley Council’s Weekend in the Woods at Fort Steuben Scout Reservation is a Scout’s chance to embrace the outdoors and learn Scouting skills that will last a lifetime! 

The activities and Merit Badges offered at the Weekend in the Woods are centered around the Scout Craft and Nature areas at Fort Steuben Scout Reservation!

At Weekend in the Woods, there will be a chance for Scouts of all skill levels to participate! 

• New Scouts may choose to spend their Saturday at Trailblazer practicing basic Scout Skills.
• Intermediate Scouts can choose to take one of the following Merit Badges - Nature, Pioneering, Orienteering, Forestry, or Plant Study.
• Older Scouts can choose to take one of the following Eagle Scout required Merit Badges - Camping or Wilderness Survival.

Cost: $10 Per Scout | Adults Free

• Two-deep leadership is required for this outing.
• FSSR will not be providing meals for participants. Units will need to bring their own food for the weekend to prepare in their campsites.
