JUNE 25 (SAT) GREAT WESTERN SCHOOL HOUSE (living museum experience) Step back in time to 1870 as you experience a day of school in a one room schoolhouse as you play games, do crafts and learn about reading, writing and arithmetic with our Schoolmarm Ms. Rattine. Feel free to dress as they would have in 1870 and bring your lunch pail or sack lunch. The schoolhouse is located just west of the entrance to Ohio University Eastern (take the next lane on the right past the entrance to OUE on Route 40 W.) Make a day of it by visiting The Schaeffer – Campbell Covered Bridge, located on the college pond. The Underground Railroad Museum and Stratton Mill in Flushing, OH. There is a limit of 20 youth per session 9am- 12pm is session 1, 1pm-3pm is session 2.
