Fish & Wildlife Mgt Merit Badge
1 of the 3 merit badges required for the BSA Complete Angler Patch

Broken Timber Outdoor Education Center (near Hannibal, OH)

8:30am to 3:30pm October 23, 2021 - $10 per Scout

The Fish and Wildlife Management badge is one of the three required merit badges for the BSA Complete Angler patch. Scouts will learn about conservation efforts being conducted in their state to protect fish and wildlife. They will also participate in a conservation project and learn how to determine a fish’s diet or age using real fish samples. Jobs in the conservation fields will also be explored.

If a scout completes the Fish and Wildlife requirements AND Fishing AND Fly-Fishing merit badges, they will have completed the requirements for the BSA Angler Patch. Both Fly-Fishing and Fishing will be taught at our Angler Weekend, May13-15, 2022.

OUT OF COUNCIL PARTICIPANTS will be charged an additional $5 per scout. There is no fee for adult leaders.
