Family Fishing Day (Hannibal, OH)

Event Details

Catch your first fish! If you have already done that, then come for more family fishing fun. Poles and bait will be provided. Free poles to preregistered youth (age 6 to 16) after completing the Passport to Fishing program.  Lunch provided to all registered participants.
YOU MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE THE MAY 20th DEADLINE.

 

Where:  Broken Timber Outdoor Education Center (Morning)/ DNR Lake off Rte. 7 (Afternoon)

When:  10 AM - 1:30 PM

Cost:  Free!
(MUST be preregistered by the end of the day on May 20th for a free fishing pole and lunch.)

10:00 Check-In (Broken Timber Outdoor Education Center)

10:30 - 11:30 How a fishing pole works and casting practice

LUNCH

12:00 - 1:30 FISHING DERBY AND PRIZES! (DNR Lake off Rte. 7)

Families are welcome to stay at the lake and fish following this event.
