Doddridge County Park

 

This year's District Spring Camporee will be held at Doddridge County Park in West Union, WV! For all Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews in the Heart of WV District. We are so happy to have you with us for this great event! 

When:

  • April 29-May 1, 2022
  • Check-in starts 5:00pm

Fees:

  • Youth and Adults:
    • $10 if paid by April 1
    • $15 April 2-27
    • $25 at the door

Registration:

  • Troops and Crews should submit one registration per unit. If participants need to be added, changed, or removed, the registrant contact can do so by logging back into the original registration to update.
  • Names of participants are not required at this time. You will receive communication about when the final rosters are due.
    • Note, this means units can pay for slots for unnamed Scouts, but you are committing to each slot you pay for. 
    • Fees are calculated on each individual slot. This means you can have some Scouts paying the early bird rate and some paying a higher fee, depending on when they are added to your registration.
  • Registration CLOSES WEDNESDAY APRIL 27. After that date, registrants will be considered walk-ins
  • Troops and crews will need to pre-register youth and adult participants online on this page.
  • Contact the Mountaineer Area Council service center if in need of assistance.

About the venue:

Doddridge County Park sits on over 250 acres just 1.5 miles off of Route 50 in West Union, WV. Lone Pine Campground at Doddridge County Park features sites for tent camping, RV Camping, and several permanent climate-controlled yurts for year-round use. The park also features several pavilions, a newly renovated pool and splash pad, wilderness trails, and several permanent buildings, including the multi-story main building for meeting, dining, and activities.
