Cub Scouts Mini-Camps

Camp Mountaineer

When: August 24-28, 2020. Five single-day sessions.

7:00 - 8:00AM--Check-in at Welcome Center
5:00 - 6:00PM--Check-out at Handicraft Pavilion, near Trading Post

Where: Camp Mountaineer

Cost: $25 per session (earn a $25 rebate if a Scout registers for and attends all five sessions)

Open to: Tigers (with an adult partner), Wolves, Bears and Webelos/Arrow of Light Scouts (per BSA policy, Tiger Scouts are not permitted to attend a day camp without an adult partner. Adult partners are required and will be free, but will take up one of the 20 spots.) 

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Camp Mountaineer will enforce the following guidelines: 

• Mandatory face covering and social distancing where appropriate
• Medical forms part A & B required (attached)
• COVID pre-screening form (attached) within 48 hours and temperature check mandatory upon entering

Program:

• Monday: hiking / nature activities
• Tuesday: arts and crafts / games
• Wednesday: shooting sports
• Thursday: arts and crafts / climbing
• Friday: STEM / climbing
• Aquatics every afternoon!

Don't forget to bring: 

• Mask or face covering 
• Bagged lunch
• Refillable water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Appropriate camp footwear (no flip flops!)
• Swimsuit and towel 
• Money for Trading Post 
• BSA medical form parts A&B (attached)
• COVID-19 pre-screening form (attached)
