Scout Leaders: Register for the Circuit Rider 32 event by clicking the "Register" button to the right for the session titled "Scout Registration."

Methodist Men:  Register for the Methodist Men Annual Gathering by clicking the "Register" button to the right for the session titled "Methodist Men Registration" and then click the option to "Continue as Guest."

The Circuit Rider is returning for 2022 and is open to all Scouts BSA troops and Venture crews!  Units do not need to be sponsored by a United Methodist Church to attend this great event.

In addition to the numerous free activities provided similar to past events like the frozen t-shirt contest and cast iron cookoff, the United Methodist Men and WVU Jackson's Mill are pleased to offer the following special programs.  Each will last approximately one hour and be led by a program coordinator from Jackson's Mill.  Scouts and their Scout-age guests can sign up for one, two, or all three of the special programs offered for a fee of $10 for each Scout or Scout-age guest.  Class spots will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Each class will be offered five times throughout the day with a limited capacity for each offering.

1. Historic Area Program:  tour historic area featuring a demonstration of an operational gristmill
2. Outdoor Recreation Program:  a mountain bike course and group ride around the grounds (all equipment provided)
3. STEAM Program:  practice problem-solving skills as you use the engineering design process to create, build, test, and improve a drone

RECRUITMENT SPECIAL:  Each unit is encouraged to utilize the Circuit Rider as a recruiting tool by inviting up to four Scout-age guests.  The United Methodist men will pay the unit $25 for each Scout-age guest who attends, up to a total of $100 per unit.  The unit may use the money to reimburse Scout-age guests their $10 special program fee, help the unit pay transportation costs, buy equipment for the unit, etc.

When:  Friday, Sept. 9 - Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022

Where:  WVU Jackson's Mill, Weston, WV

Cost:  Free except for Scouts taking the offered special programs.  Scouts and Scout-age guests may participate in one, two, or three special programs for a total fee of $10 per person.  Everyone attending the W. Va. United Methodist Men Annual Gathering must register and pay a $20 registration fee. 

Includes:  Event patch, facility, Jackson's Mill program activities

IMPORTANT:

• Pre-registration for Circuit Rider 32 and for the W. Va. United Methodist Men's Annual Gathering is required.  Registration has been extended and now closes on August 25, 2022.
• All Scouts, Scout guests, Scout leaders, and United Methodist Men must complete self-screening health assessment immediately prior to the event with more details being sent out after registration closes.
• All Scout leaders must have a current certification in Youth Protection Training, which can be found at my.scouting.org. 
• All United Methodist Men must be trained in Safe Sanctuaries Policies and acknowledge the BSA's Barriers to Abuse and Youth Protection policies during online registration.
