Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)
Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank.
Along with Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training, this course is required of all registered Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Crew Advisors, and Associate Crew Advisors be considered “trained” in the BSA.
Fees: $30 if paid by April 12 | $40 after April 12
REGISTRATION CLOSES APRIL 18. NO WALK–INS due to materials and food
Check-in: 5:00PM at the Welcome Center
An agenda and packing list will be provided prior to the course.
