SPRING BROTHERHOOD INDUCTIONS 

APRIL 11-13, 2025
CAMP MOUNTAINEER

Calling all Brotherhood eligible members of Menawngihella Lodge! This weekend we are offering the opportunity to seal your membership in the Order of the Arrow with Brotherhood.  If you went through your ordeal in August or September 2024 and anytime before that, you are eligble!  The weekend, Friday-Sunday, will consist of two nights of indoor camping.  If you wish to tent camp, we can accommodate. 

Registration closes Monday, April 7.  We need all to register to account for the appropriate amount of food.

Fees: 

• Brotherhood Candidates:  $50 if paid by March 30 at 11:59pm, ($55 after March 30)
  • ​​​​includes Brotherhood sash and food
• Current OA Members:  $25 if paid by March 30 at 11:59pm, ($30 after March 30)

Who: 

• Ordeal members eligible for conversion to Brotherhood membership.  This includes any Ordeal member that went through Ordeal in 2024 or before.
• All other adult and youth lodge members to serve as volunteers and fellowship.

Notes: 

• Completion of the Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) Parts A-B is required for all attendees
• Indoor camping pack list

As Scouting’s National Honor Society, our purpose is to:

• Recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and through that recognition cause others to conduct themselves in a way that warrants similar recognition.

• Promote camping, responsible outdoor adventure, and environmental stewardship as essential components of every Scout’s experience, in the unit, year-round, and in summer camp.

• Develop leaders with the willingness, character, spirit and ability to advance the activities of their units, our Brotherhood, Scouting, and ultimately our nation.

• Crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others.
