BASECAMP RETREAT

Camp Mountaineer |  November 7, 2026

Join us for a day of leadership development, teamwork, and fellowship as we strengthen our commissioner corps and prepare to better serve the units of Mountaineer Area Council!

We’re excited to welcome the Challenger Learning Center, which will lead an engaging, hands-on leadership development experience designed to challenge our thinking, sharpen our skills, strengthen collaboration, and put our Scouting knowledge into practice.

Commissioners are encouraged to arrive Friday evening and camp overnight for an opportunity to connect, share ideas, build relationships, and enjoy some fun and fellowship before Saturday’s program.

Stronger leaders. Stronger teams. Stronger units. Every great adventure begins at BASECAMP!
