Spend the day exploring high-energy activities, live demonstrations, exhibits, and the unique spirit of Scouting’s premier national event. Bring your family, friends, or fellow Scouts and enjoy a full day of adventure.
Join the Mountaineer Area Council to visit the main event for the day. SPOTS ARE LIMITED!
WHO: Interested individuals of all ages!
- Scouts & leaders thinking about attending the National Scout Jamboree in 2029 or 2030
- youth must attend under the supervision of an adult
- Parents of our 2026 Jamboree contingent
- Council supporters and community partners
- Anyone curious about the Jamboree experience!
WHEN: Monday, July 27, 2026; 10:00 - 4:00 (visiting hours)
Bus departure and return times and locations are TBD and will be based on the area of those traveling. Expect to be gone for the entire day
WHERE: Summit Bechtel Reserve, Glen Jean, WV
FEES: You will make your purchase in two transactions.
The first purchase is to the National Jamboree and includes the visitor pass. You need to purchase your pass(es) for MONDAY, JULY 27 directly online at: https://jamboree.scouting.org/visitors/
- Adult single day pass $103.00
- Youth single day pass (ages 6-13) $77.50
- Youth 5 and under $0.00
The second purchase is to Mountaineer Area Council and includes round-trip private charter bus transportation, a Jamboree souvenir and snacks and drinks while in transit. You may register for this on this page.

VISITOR ACCESS
Day visitors will enjoy all the activities at the Summit Center.
Access to other areas of the Jamboree site is NOT included, including:
- Zip lines
- Mountain Biking
- Rifle and Target activities
- Aquatic activities
- Other high-adventure programs outside the Summit Center
- Campsites
