Calling all new Order of the Arrow candidates and current Ordeal members eligible for Brotherhood! There will be two opportunities for inductions this fall, one at Camp Mountaineer (August 22-24) and one at Fort Steuben Scout Reservation (September 12-14). Both weekends will offer the induction for those who were recently elected and called-out, and an opportunity for current Ordeal members to go through the Brotherhood conversion. The weekends will consist of two nights, Friday through Sunday. Completion of an induction weekend is required for membership in the Order of the Arrow. BRING YOUR TENT OR HAMMOCK!
If you are going through your Brotherhood Induction, there will also be a Saturday-only registration option.
Who:
- New youth and adult candidates resulting from a unit election or adult nomination eligible for Ordeal membership
- Ordeal members eligible for conversion to Brotherhood membership. This includes any Ordeal member that went through Ordeal in 2024 or before.
- All other adult and youth lodge members to serve as volunteers, support, and fellowship with new candidates and Brotherhoods
Registration Closes: Sunday, September 7
Fees:
- New Induction Candidates:
- $50 if paid by August 30, $60 after August 30
- includes your 2025 Lodge dues, Ordeal sash, flap, OA Handbook and food
- Brotherhood Candidates weekend event:
- $30 if paid by August 30, $40 after August 30
- includes Brotherhood sash and food
- Brotherhood Candidates Saturday-only:
- $25 if paid by August 30, $35 if paid after August 30
- includes Brotherhood sash and food
- please arrive by 8:00 AM on Saturday
- Current OA Members: $25 if paid by August 30, $35 after August 30
- Current OA Members Saturday-only: $15 if paid by August 30, $25 if paid after August 30
Check-in/Check-out:
- Friday check-in will be:
- 5:30 PM for Health Officer/Adults in charge of weekend
- 6-7 PM for current OA members
- 7 PM for induction candidates
- Everyone must check-in with the Health Officer. If you are a youth, your parent/guardian must be present with Health Officer.
- Saturday-only attendees should arrive at 8 AM on Saturday and check-in at the Dining Hall.
- Sunday check-out will be at 9 AM in the Dining Hall with Health Officer.
Notes:
- Completion of the Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) Parts A-B is required for all attendees. PHYSICAL HEALTH FORMS MUST BE TURNED INTO THE HEALTH OFFICER UPON CHECK-IN.
- Induction Candidates - You will receive a packing list of suggested supplies and requisite materials. This is also on the registration page under attachements.
