BB- Gun Range Officer Training

The Inflatable BB-gun Range is one of the safest opportunities youth have to experience the fun, adventure, and advancement of shooting sports. However, to do all this takes a well trained group of adults (18+) with the proper certifications to run ranges. 

This will be a required BB-gun Range Officer training for all adults who will be running the ranges. The training is *FREE* and open to all interested Scouters. But we do ask, that everyone trained take a minimum of ONE SHIFT of coverage at a council/district or community recruitment event. Many hands make light work!

Note: Completion of this training certifies participants to assist with district- and council-level Range and Target Activities (RATA) events, including operation of the inflatable BB range. However, this certification does not authorize individuals to conduct RATA activities at the pack level, in accordance with the Guide to Safe Scouting.
