Shotgun Merit Badge
Come on out to the beautiful Evergreen Sportsmen's Club in Olympia for a Shotgun Merit Badge session. Scouts will work through the safety and educational requirements of Shotgun MB and have the opportunity to shoot, sharpen their shotgun skills, and potentially meet the score requirement of the badge!
This is an event in conjunction with the 5th annual Pacific Harbor Clay Classic, shotgun shoot. Scouts should arrive in their BSA field uniform, with proper footwear, closed toe and comfortable, and bring a blue card. Ear and eye protection will be provided. Scouts will be provided with lunch. Scouts can sign up individually. Scouts will be shooting 12 gauge shotguns. This class is currently limited to 10 Scouts.
Who: Scouts BSA members, First Class and up, must be physically able to safely handle a Shotgun.
When: August 17th 9 am-4 pm, Scouts should arrive at 8:30 and be prepared to begin at 9 am.
Where: 12736 Marksman Road SW, Olympia
What: Scouts have the opportunity to work towards their Shotgun Merit Badge
Cost: $50 per Scout, this covers 50 rounds, 50 clays, merit badge supplies, and lunch
