Join Pacific Harbors Council Merit Badge Bash!

Who: Any scout with a bluecard signed by their unit leader can attend.

What: Begin and Complete merit badges that you can use to earn the Eagle Scout rank or Eagle Palms.

When: Multiple classes offered on March 28th from 9am-3:30pm.

Where: Camp Thunderbird, Pacific Harbors Council (11740 Summit Lake Road NW, Olympia, WA 98502).

Cost: $25 per scout

Get ready for an exciting day of hands-on learning at our Merit Badge Bash! This one-day event gives Scouts the chance to dive into multiple merit badges in a fun, focused environment led by knowledgeable counselors.

Currently Offered Merit Badges

Bird Study – Explore bird identification, habitats, and conservation while sharpening your observation skills.
Geology – Dig into the science of rocks, minerals, and the forces that shape our planet.
Energy – Discover how energy is produced, distributed, and conserved while exploring renewable resources, efficiency, and the role energy plays in everyday life.
Scouting Heritage – Discover the rich history, traditions, and values of Scouting while exploring its founders, milestones, and the impact the movement has made on communities and leaders around the world.

Additional Information

• Scouts should bring a pre-filled and signed bluecard for every merit badge class they are attending
• Scouts should complete all pre-requirements for each badge they are attending before they arrive to the event
  • Pre-requirements will be communicated to registrants as we get closer to the event. 
• While it is our goal to complete all badges on March 28, Scouts may be unable to do so and leave the event with a partial.
