2026 Fundamentals of Training Course

Fundamentals of Training
Science & Craft of Training
Do you teach, mentor, present, coach, or lead others in Scouting? This course is designed to help you become a more effective and confident trainer.
Join Pacific Harbors Council for the newly updated Fundamentals of Training course, combining both:
- Part 1: Science of Training
- Part 2: Craft of Training
This interactive, hands-on course focuses on both why people learn and how to deliver engaging, effective training experiences. Participants will explore communication techniques, learner engagement, presentation skills, experiential learning, and practical coaching methods that can be applied across all areas of Scouting.
This is not a lecture-style course. Be prepared to participate, collaborate, practice, and grow alongside fellow Scouts and Scouters who are passionate about delivering quality programs and meaningful learning experiences.
