More Than Just a Bike Rodeo!
Bring your bike and get it ready to roll! Bikes For Kids will be joining us to provide bicycle tune-ups and repairs for Cub Scouts who bring their bikes. Their experienced team will help make sure bikes are in good working order and ready for the riding challenges. Learn more about Bikes For Kids at bikesforkids.us.
Ride Safe with East Pierce County Fire & Rescue!
The East Pierce County Fire & Rescue Department will be on hand to help Cub Scouts and families make sure their helmets fit properly and provide important bike safety tips. Need a new helmet? They’ll also have new helmets available for purchase at great prices — bike helmets are just $11, and multi-sport helmets are $13. It’s a great opportunity to make sure every rider is properly protected before hitting the course!
Three Bikes Up for Grabs!
Thanks to the generosity of Bikes For Kids, three bicycles will be given away through a special event raffle! Every Cub Scout will have a chance to participate, so be sure to stick around for the big drawing.
Scouts BSA & Venturers — We Need You!
Older Scouts and Crew members are invited to sign up as event staff and help with bicycle tune-ups, repairs, activities, and other Bike Rodeo stations. Staffers who participate in qualifying bicycle maintenance work will also have the opportunity to earn Cycling Merit Badge check-offs for Requirements 4a–4f. It's a great way to serve younger Scouts while building your own skills and working toward advancement.
Ride, Eat & Celebrate!
But don't tire yourself out too much. After working up an appetite on the course, everyone can enjoy a pizza, salad, and drinks dinner together. Your registration includes dinner and a commemorative Bike Rodeo patch for every participant.
Bring your bike. Bring your helmet. Bring your family. Bring your Cub Scout spirit — and get ready to ride!
Ready to roll? Let’s ride!
