2026 Camp Thunderbird Trailblazers: Trail to First Class Camp
Scouts BSA – Ready to level up before summer camp?
If you're a new Scouts BSA member or working toward Tenderfoot, Second Class, or First Class, Trailblazers is the perfect opportunity to get a jumpstart on rank advancements before heading to summer camp. This camp focuses on essential Trail to First Class requirements, allowing Scouts to complete key skills now so they can focus on earning fun merit badges with their troop later in the summer.
Date: Saturday - Sunday, May 2-3, 2026
Location: Camp Thunderbird
Who Can Attend: Any registered Scouts BSA youth working toward Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, or First Class.
We will publish a Trail to First Class class schedule in advance, outlining which requirements will be covered and which merit badges will be offered during the weekend. Class sign-ups will occur on Saturday as part of check-in, giving Scouts and leaders time to review the schedule ahead of camp and plan their weekend before arrival.
