What: A 50-mile self-paced Summer hiking challenge!
Who: Open to everyone—Scouting membership is NOT required.
When: Complete 50 outdoor miles between July 1 and August 31, 2025. Preferably hike on trails!
Where: Anywhere your heart, feet, and the weather take you!

Cost:

$10 per person

$35 for an immediate family of up to 5 (same household)

Want to register your entire unit? Contact your District Executive or the Council Office for special pricing!

Additional Details:

• All participants will receive a patch

• Track your miles using any method you prefer.

Tips for an Unforgettable Trek:

• Promote Scouting Spirit: Wear Scout-related clothing during your hikes!

• Be Prepared: Complete the mandatory Hazardous Weather Training on My.Scouting.org (required for Direct Contact Leaders).

• Share the Adventure: Send participation photos and videos to phc@scouting.org—your moments might appear on the council’s website or social media!

• Challenge Friends: Invite others to join or compete in friendly mileage challenges.

• Do a Good Turn: While trekking, consider completing community service, good deeds, or advancement requirements.
