Two Days.

One Unforgettable Rendezvous.
Are you Ready?

A letter from your Camporee Planning Team.

Friends,

This year, we’re bringing something new — and something old — to our District Camporee.

For the past few years, our Camporees have been fun, creative, and full of energy, with themes that kept Scouts laughing and moving. This year, we want to lean back into Baden-Powell’s idea of “fun with a purpose” and the legacy of traditional Scout gatherings. Think of the frontier Rendezvous: Scouts from across the land gathering to test their skill, share stories, and forge friendships.

We’ll bring that spirit to life with daytime patrol competitions spread across Camp Thunderbird, each one challenging, achievable, and rooted in Scouting skills — but with a frontier twist. Patrols will navigate the camp at their own pace, visiting as many stations as possible, collecting passport stamps, and building memories.

At night, we’ll gather the entire camp for a grand campfire, where we share skits, songs, and stories, honor the day’s achievements, and celebrate what unites us as Scouts.

Our goal is simple:

· Engaging: Patrols have fun while learning and practicing skills.

· Inclusive: Every Scout can contribute to their patrol’s success.

· Memorable: An event they’ll talk about all year.

Together, we’ll make this Camporee one for the history books — and maybe create a few legends of our own.

Yours in Scouting,

Owen – Chief Scout of the Rendezvous Matt – Rendezvous Captain
