This summer, Camp Thunderbird invites you to experience the ultimate Cub Scout adventure! Get ready for an unforgettable week of outdoor fun, skill-building, and friendship in the heart of nature. 
At Camp Thunderbird, you’ll discover all the best parts of summer camp—hiking through our beautiful forest, swimming in the refreshing lake, learning new outdoor skills, and building memories with friends around the campfire.

It’s not just a camp—it’s a summer full of fun, growth, and unforgettable experiences!

This camp is open to all registered Cub Scouts who will be entering the 1st grade (Tiger) through 5th grade (Arrow of Light) in the Fall of 2026.

Don’t miss out on the adventure! You can secure spots for your family or unit by registering and paying a $100 deposit

Important Details:

- Tiger Scouts: Must be accompanied by an Adult Partner at all times (do not count towards the adult-to-Scout ratio).
- Adult Supervision: Each pack must have a minimum of 2 registered adults (current in Youth Protection Training), with an additional registered adult for every 4 Cub Scouts. For example:
  - 1-8 Cub Scouts = 2 Registered Adults
  - 9-12 Cub Scouts = 3 Registered Adults
  - 13-16 Cub Scouts = 4 Registered Adults
  - 17-20 Cub Scouts = 5 Registered Adults
  - and so on.
- Registration Requirement: All youth attending must be registered members of Scouting America.
- Health and Safety: The BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A, B1, B2) is required for all participants, both Scouts and adults. Part C is recommended (but not required) and must be completed by a medical professional.
- Financial Assistance: Camperships may be available for families needing financial assistance. The form can be found during event registration. WILL BE AVAILABLE WINTER 2024.
- Registration Deadline:
Registration is open until May 31, 2025. Registrations after this date are subject to availability and do not guarantee a participant t-shirt or patch.
