Swimming Merit Badge Class

Details:

Scouts can be dropped off at Mount Cross between 10 and 10:30am and picked up at the Curtis Aquatics Center 5 pm, or parents can stay for the day. 

Male and female adult supervision will be always on site.  If the class finishes early there will be free swim until 5pm. 

Scouts should already know how to swim before showing up to earn the merit badge.  We can teach skills and correct stroke techniques, but we can't teach a non-swimmer to swim well enough to earn the merit badge in one day.  We'll give partials to any scout who doesn't complete all requirements.

Bring a swimsuit and towel, and goggles (optional). Please have scout bring a lunch. If the parent chooses to stay for the event there are fast food options available within a 5 min drive from location.

Scouts must bring a Merit Badge blue card signed by their Scoutmaster.
