Membership Recruitment Workshop

Join fellow Scouting leaders and volunteers for a morning focused on membership growth! This event runs from 10:00 AM to Noon and kicks off with a 20–30 minute presentation before moving into a hands-on workshop for the rest of the time together. You do not need to wear your uniform to this event and light refreshments will be provided. 

During the presentation, we will go over available resources, the suggested timeline for a unit recruitment, and how to use online tools like beascout to your units advantage. 

During the workshop, you'll have the chance to connect with other leaders to share recruitment plans, swap ideas, and discuss what's worked in our area. We will help you set your Unit Membership Goal Sheet (see attached), and work together to build a recruitment plan that makes sense for your unit specifically. 

Anyone is welcome to attend! Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scout, or Exploring leaders and volunteers alike! You do not need to have a specific role to attend!

• Your unit's calendar
• Information about local community events you might recruit at
• Any Unit flyers
• Please register so we can be prepared!
