Cub Scout Day Camp: Dinos! 

Mark your calendars for this year's Cub Scout Day Camp! Get ready to stomp, roar, and explore at Cub Scout Day Camp: Dinosaur Adventure! This summer, Scouts will dig into hands-on activities, prehistoric games, outdoor challenges, and fossil-sized fun while building skills, confidence, and friendships. Whether you are a brave T-Rex or a clever Velociraptor, there is an adventure waiting for you at camp!

Day Camp Patch Design Contest!

Any Cub Scout can submit a desgin that will be used for our 2026 Day Camp Patch Design. This desgin can be hand drawn or digital. Designs need to be emailed into Rachael.weaver@scouting.org by end of day on March 31st, please see submission form attached to this registration page! The winning design will become this years Patch and the winning designer will attend Day Camp for free!

Every registered camper will receive an exclusive Camp Patch!

Who Can Attend Camp?

All youth must be entering 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade in September 2026. Kindergarteners during the 2025-2026 school year may attend. Youth entering Kindergarten in September 2026 do not meet the age requirements for Day Camp.

If your child is entering 1st Grade in September 2026, we require that a parent/guardian accompany them during the Day Camp.

* Day Camp is open also open to non-Scouting families

Want to bring a friend?

The more the merrier! We would love to have you bring non scout friends to Day Camp so they can see all the fun we have in Cub Scouting! The non cub Scout needs to go through the same registration here, and will need an health form A & B and activity consent form. Friends need be in the first grade or above. They should choose the den level of the grade they will go into in the fall. 

If a Scout currently registered for Day Camp gets a non Scout friend to sign up for day camp both will get $15 off their registration! To get the discount please email Rachael.weaver@scouting.org the Scouts name and the name of the friend! The discount will be refunded directly to the original form of payment.

 

What you need to bring

  • Health form- Each person who will be staying on property needs to bring a physical copy of their A & B Health form. (Does not require a doctor's signature) Form linked above.
  • Packed Lunch- Dinner will be provided on Friday night, and Scouts will need to bring a Packed lunch on Saturday
  • Water Bottle
  • Weather Appropriate clothing- This is the PNW it might rain! 
  • Close toed shoes

What Scouts should not bring

  • Things that cannot get dirty
  • Anything not allowed in Cub Scouts
  • Pocket Knives

Volunteers needed: If you are interested in helping with this day camp Please reach out to Rachael.weaver@Scouting.org. 

What would volunteering look like? 

We would ask that any volunteer arrives early at 3 pm (work schedules permitting) on Friday and 8 am on Saturday. We will provide the instructions and materials that you will need. No experience is necessary! Youth over 14 can volunteer. These youth should be mature and capable of setting a good example for our younger scouts!
 

You can regiser as an "Adult Volunteer" if you plan on helping with the event! 

Specifically we are looking for 

  • Den Walkers- Someone who walks with on Den of Scouts both days. Taking them to their different stations and assisting with the activities. 
  • Station Instructors- Someone who leads the activities
  • Geocaching
  • Backyard Bass
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Science Experiments 
  • BB/Archery
  • And more
  • Medical Personnel- To serve as our Camp Medic
