The Boy Scouts of America Leadership Breakfast is a critical part of our outreach effort, enabling us to better serve our youth. Breakfast is free to participants and there is no ticket, but they will be asked to contribute during the program with a gift of $100 or more. The events will highlight local guest speakers, community supporters and our youth to help raise necessary funds to support our programs.

The Inland Northwest Council is pleased to announce our guest speaker at Northern Quest Resort & Casino!

Dave Mitchell with The Leadership Difference will deliver a powerful presentation titled “Peak Performance Culture: The Metrics of Organizational Excellence”. Attendees will discover the behaviors embodied by leaders that elevate their performance to a high level while avoiding environmental stress and burnout. Since founding the Leadership Difference in 1995, over 350,000 people have attended Dave’s “enter-TRAIN-ment” seminars on topics that include leadership, customer service, selling skills, and personal performance enhancement. In 2013, Dave was named Best Speaker of the Year at Meeting Professionals International’s World Education Congress in Las Vegas. In 2015, Meetings and Conventions Magazine named Dave one of the Best Speakers of the Year. Dave has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois, has a master’s degree (M. Ed.) in Global Human Resources Development and is designated as a Certified Advanced Wine Sommelier.
