In Person Merit Badge Clinic!

We are going to use Blue Cards at this event.  

Each MB is $10 per class regardless of the length per class or number of days.

Please be mindful some of these classes are ONE day and some of them are BOTH days, which means you will need to review the schedule you want and make sure you come to both days if needed!!!

These Merit Badges have additional costs:

Space explorations has an extra $10 cost. This should be added to the registration so the rockets can be purchased by the teacher and made available for class.

First Aid has an extra $10 cost. This also should be added to the registration so the materials can be purchased for the first aid kit required for the merit badge. 

Pulp and paper $5 for supplies 

Fingerprinting $5  for supplies 

Additional optional Costs:

$10 Lunch available for October 22nd

$10 Lunch available for November 5th

$10 Merit Badge Cinch bags which contain:

     1. Folder that can hold worksheets that the scouts bring or handouts provided in class

   2. Paper, 

     3. 2 pens

     4. bottle of water

Guest speakers for certain classes:

Weather Merit Badge - Michelle Bos, meteorologist for KREM 2

Healthcare Merit Badge - Several different healthcare professionals for that class (RN, EMT, medical assistant, pharmacist, Nurse Practitioner, Radiologist)

Dental Merit Badge - Field Trip to a dentist office

Veterinary Merit Badge - A local veterinarian will be presenting for Vet Med AND is set to have the scouts go to her clinic to watch small animal or large animal vet care, as well as possibly surgeries. Scouts can give feedback on that.  Date and Time to be announced in class.

There will be 2 other opportunities on site:

Jumbo muffins for a quick breakfast $2

We expect to be there to the south side of the Shadle Library entrance by 8:30 to facilitate set up. At 9:00 AM we anticipate being ready to get merit badge counselors their student lists, checking in scouts, handing out jumbo muffins, cinch bags, etc.
